DOUBLE SHOOTING ON LONELY STATION ABORIGINE’S NEWS (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) Reed. 10 a.m. CAIRNS, Fi'iday. Report of a double tragedy at Albington Downs Station, 75 miles from Georgetown, has been received by the police. A black boy brought news from Georgetown that Robert McDowell and his sister-in-law were found dead, -with gunshot wounds in their bodies, in a paddock two miles from a homestead. The police have left for the scene.
