At a special meeting of the Tauranga Electric-Power Board, a new agreement with the Tauranga Borough Council for the supply of electricity by the council was discussed fully and finally adopted. The Health Department is to asked to send an officer to inquire into and report upon new buildings for housing the staff. For the month there were 47 admissions and 35 discharges, 30 patients being under attention at the end month. • * • The secretary of the Chamber dl Commerce has been advised that tljC first of the summer excursions wiT & held at the end of October. The Dfr partment considers the demand will be great enough to fill a special train each week-end.
