ANOTHER YACHT MASTER

MR. L. T. HARRISON PASSES EXAM.

Mr. L. T. Harrison has been successful in passing his examination for yacht-master in New Zealand waters. He is the second candidate to be successful in obtaining this certificate, Mr. Cameron having passed some three months ago, his being the first pass as yacht-master for over 30 years in New Zealand. Mr. Harrison, who is not yet 20 years of age, is a resident of Oneliunga and a member of a yacht club there.

The navigation and chart-work required to be done is equivalent to, and in some respects slightly higher in standard, than that required for master home-trade. Mr. Harrison is a member of the staff of L. D. Nathan and was a pupil of Mr. J. W. R. Richmond.
