SUNDAY EVENING ENTERTAINMENT
Another enjoyable programme with lecturette and films will he presented at the Majestic Theatre tomorrow evenitig. Mr. G. A. Kawson, the lecturer who has already made himself popular with the Sunday evening audiences. will give an illustrated lecture on “Beautiful Japan, the Band of the Rising Sun.” Mr. Kawson was an eye-witness of tlio disastrous earthquake of 1923. The chief film to be screened tomorrow will bo “Gateway of tb® Moon,*” a drama of the South American jungle, starring Dolores Del RioThis entertainment is arranged by tho New Zealand Rationalists’ Association. Bay Compton, known in England as the “Barrie Heroine,” by reason of the number of plays by that famous author, in which she has appeared, is Adolphe Menjou's leading woman in “Fashions 1 In Dove,” his first all-talking picture-
