PROPERTY-OWNERS MEET At a. meeting- of the Devonport property owners on Thursday evening over which Mr. D. W. McLean presided, it was mentioned that the engineer s salary was £450. This should d £4 75 with a car allowance ot £ 100 a year. The salary of the foreman of works is £420 a year, with the use of the council’s car. The loan to provide for the installation of water meters was carried in 1916
