HAWKE’S RAY CLUB TO TRAIN ENTHUSIASTS FIRST FLIGHTS MADE Press Association GISBORNE, Today. Though Gisborne is without a permanent airfield, arrangements have been made with the Hawke’s Bay Aero Club to give flying instruction to Gisborne enthusiasts and the first flights were made today from the Makaraka Racecourse, Captain White, of Hastings, being in the instructor’s seat.

Ten aspirants for licences took the preliminary course of instruction today.
