Somo indication as to the popularity of this clever comedian and lus company could be gathered from last evening’s show, which featuied • packed house. The bill ot fare, with its particularly gay element, was made ur> of all the best turns produced this season, and time and time again the artists were brought back by the prolonged and loud applause of the large and enthusiastic audience. And no more pleasing was any item than that at the close of the show, when Frank O’Brian sat on the "What Adam Said to Eve" seat, to say his farewell remarks. On taking off his ginger wig, one of the most humorous parts of his make-up. and showing a neatly groomed head ot hair, auite unexpected under the disguise or the wig,, there were “o-o-o-ohs from the feminine section of the audience. HeaDs of presents and bouqutvs ■weie sent up to the stage, and streamers looped from the circle. It was a most enjoyable evening.
