CORA TACKS

r P HjE Ashhurst trained mare Cora Tacks claims two engagements at New Brighton tomorrow, both over a mile course, harness and saddle. If ready to do her best Cora will keep the opposition busy off a 2.17 peg, as at Hawera on the second day she went a fine race into second berth, tramping 2.15 on a track that was not by any means fast. She has won her best races for "Darkle” Broughton, but if favoured with a light horseman in the South, Tagg’s mare should prove a nuisance at the seaside in whichever event she is sent for.
