HAMILTON, Today. “He has done three months’ work in the last three years,” said SeniorSergeant Sweeney in the Hamilton Police Court today, when referring to Trevor Child, 20, charged with the theft of a rolled-gold watch valued at £6, the property of R. Goodsell. The evidence showed that Child, when working with the Perpetual Forest Company, Putaruru, entered a tent and stole a watch lying on a bed, pawning it in Hamilton. “Accused was before the Court some years ago and is not a youth of industrious habits,” added the seniorsergeant.
