FIRST MAORI ARCHDEACON
WAIKATO APPOINTMENT (From Our Own Correspondent) An important ecclesiastical appointment has been made by the Bishop of Waikato. Rev. Hori Raiti, Maori prist at Huntly, has been promoted to be Archdeacon of the Tai-Hauauru (Western! seat and Avill superintend native mission work in the Waikato and King Country. He is the first Maori Archdeacon.
