Last evening the i programme presented was, without • doubt, the best that has been staged j by the company in Auckland, including las it did the best of the repertoire that ! j lias been presented during the season. I Frank O’Brian and Janice Hart were singled out for special applause, with Al. Batchelder. with his pianoforte solos, closely following. The ballet and Ernie Brooks also got through some fine work. In a speech just before the curtain Frank O'Brian thanked the audience for the season the company had enjoyed in Auckland and said he hoped to be back here in about two years’ time.
