“MRS. MOONLIGHT” The brilliant play, “Mrs. Moonlight,” by Benn Levy, has been chosen by the Little Theatre Society for its next production, and will b*>- presented in the Concert Chamber for a season of four nights, commencing on Wednesday, September 11. Mr. Levy is one of the most promising of modern playwrights, and this charming play, which will be interpreted by a cast of new Little Theatre players, should be well received by Auckland theatre-lovers. The arrangements f..*r membership and for booking are advertised. Karl Dane, the larger half of the comedy team of Dane and Arthur, has • signed a new long-term contract with J Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. Dane's first j role under hi.s new contract is in William Haines’s forthcoming production. * “Speedway.”
