MR. L. A. PAISH’S ARRIVAL Press Association WELLINGTON, Wednesday. Cabled advice has been received from his Majesty’s Trade Commissioner in New Zealand, Mr. L. A. Paish, that he expects to arrive in Wellington by the Maheno from Sydney on September 10. Mr. Paish. who has - been on the headquarters staff of the Department of Overseas Trade in London, was recently appointed to succeed Mr. L. B. Beale in New Zealand. WHANGAREI DAIRYING (Prom Our Oxen Correspondent) WIIANGAREI, Wednesday. The Wliangarei Co-op. Dairy Company’s output for the month of August shows a substantial increase over the figures for the corresponding month of last year. Sixty tons of butter were manufactured, compared with 5G tons during August last. The Rodney Co-op. Dairy Company’s output for the same month was 11 tons, compared with 7 tons during August, 1925. BUTTER AND CHEESE Merchants report receipt of overseas cables as follow: Newton Ring, Ltd., from its London principals, It. and W. Davidson, Ltd., under date September 3:—“Butter: Market firm; salted, 175 s up to ISOs: unsalted. 170 sto 1765. Cheese: Market steady; coloured, 94s to 955; white. 93s to 94s.’’ don principals:—“Butter, ITSs: cheese, white 925. coloured 945. Both markets very quiet.”
