Dr. TT. H. Parkes left for Wellington by the Limited last evening. Messrs. W. and W. J. Perry arrived from Wellington this morning by the Limited. Mr. W. Russell-Wood, who has been judging the elocutionary seel the Greymouth competitions, has returned to Auckland. Mr. W. C. Bryden (Christchurch) has been elected president, and Mr. j. Malingr (Christchurch) vice-president of the New Zealand Wool-brokers Association, for the ensuing year. Mr. H. C. Myers, general manager of G. T. Fulford and Co.. Toronto. Canada, arrived in Auckland this morning by the Narbada from Calcutta. Accompanied by his wife, he is on a tour ot' the world. They have already visited China, Japan and Java, and after touring New Zealand they will go to Australia, South Africa. India and England. Mr. and Mrs. Myers are at the Grand Hotel.
