JjAST year the Otahuhu Trotting Club assisted the Government exchequer to the extent of £11,132 7s as a result of the varinrr, imposed on the sport provided by the club. At the spring fixture the taxation reached £5,267 13s Id, while at the summer carnival it totalled £5,864 13s 11d.
