BROKE WINDOW AND SWORE Charged with breaking two panes of glass, valued at 10s, the property of Edward Stringer, Harry Saunders, a seaman, appeared before Messrs. D. A. Sutherland and J. E. Green, J.P.’s, at Onehunga this morning. Sergeant Cruickshank said that Saunders had been boarding at Stringer’s house, but had left, by request, a few days ago. He returned last evening the worse for liquor and when refused admission, used lurid language and broke a window. He was fined. £2, ordered to pay for the damage done, and 10s witnesses’ expenses.
