GREAT SCENE IN NEW TALKIE

In no picture yet made has there been quite such convincing demonstration of drama in everyday life as in ‘‘On Trial,” Warnes Bros.’ speciaJ, which stars Pauline Frederick. The dramatic power of the story is brought on with an effectiveness which has never been approached by previous pictures. One of the most emotional of the scenes is the one in which Robert Strickland catches his wife in a lie, Which she constantly elaborates in an effort to make her unusual action seem Plausible. So splendidly does Miss Frederick play this scene that one actually suffers with both husband B>nd wife. The distinguished cast of “On Trial" Includes Bert Lytell. Lois Wilson, Holmes Herbert, Richard Tucker, Pangborn and others.
