KAITANGATA FOR NEW ZEALAND. —From South Australian ports, the Union Company’s steamer Kaitangata is expected to leave Hobart today for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington and Auckland. BRUNSWICK DEPARTS.—Repairs to her tvindlass were completed this morning and the tanker Brunswick sailed at 10.45 a.m. l'or Wellington, Melbourne and Sydney to complete discharge. TASMANIA ARRIVING.—Due at Auckland at noon tomorrow from Liverpool, the New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Tasmania berths at the Queen’s Wharf to unload the local portion of her cargo before proceeding to Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin to complete. KING WILLIAM WITH SUGAR.—A radio message received by the Colonial Sugar Company states that the steamer King William is due at Auckland tomorrow from Java with a load of raw sugar. It is expected she will berth at Chelsea at 7 a.m. on Monday to unload her cargo MAUNGANUI AT SAN FRANCISCO. — The Union Company advises that the Maunganui. from Sydney and Wellington, arrived at San Francisco yesterday morning. She is scheduled to leave again next Wednesday for Papeete, Rarotonga, Wellington and Sydney, and is due at Wellington on September 23. NARBADA REPORTS.—According to a radio message received by the local office of the Union Company, the chartered steamer Narbada is expected to arrive at Auckland next Wednesday from Calcutta and way ports. After discharge here the vessel proceeds to Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin and Bluff to complete. NIAGARA CLEARED SUVA. —The Royai Mail liner Niagara reached Suva from Auckland at 10.30 a.m. yesterday and sailed at 4.30 p.m. in. continuation of her voyage to Honolulu and Vancouver. The vessel Is due at Vancouver on September 13, and is to sail on her return voyage to New Zealand and Australia on September IS. REMUERA LEAVES LONDON.—CabIe advice states that the New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Remuera left London for Southampton on Thursday, to embark passengers and to load mail for New Zealand. The vessel cleared Southampton yesterday for Auckland, and Wellington. She is scheduled to arrive at Auckland on October 4. TAMAROA AT COLON. —The Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Tamaroa is reported to have reached Colon from Southampton last Wednesday. The vessel has passengers and mail for New* Zealand and cargo for discharge at Wellington and Auck'and. She is due at Wellington on September 17, and at Auckland on September 24. A. S. Paterson and Company, Limited, are the local agents. PAPANUI CLEARED PANAMA.-Re-norted to have cleared Panama last Thursday, the Federal Line steamer Papanui is en route from Liverpool with general merchandise from West Coast ports of Great Britain for discharge at Auckland. Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and New Plymouth. She is scheduled to reach Auckland on September 16. The New Zealand Shipping Company are the local agents. SVOLDER DUE TOMORROW.—The Norwegian motor tanker Svoider, under charter to the Texas Oil Company, will arrive from San Pedro at noon tomorrow, according to her wireless advice to Henderson and Macfar’ane. Ltd. She has a full cargo of bulk oil for Auckland. Lyttelton. Dunedin and Newcastle. Cargo for Auckland will be unloaded at Western Wharf. Z

PAKIPAKI DUE MONDAY.—Under charter to the A. and A. Line, the Federal steamer Pakipaki is due at Auckland at 9 a.m. on Monday from New York. She will berth at the King’s Wharf to unload the local portion of her cargo under the agency of the New Zealand Shinning Company before proceeding to Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru and Dunedin to complete.

CUMBERLAND SAILS. —The Federal steamer Cumberland left Auckland at S o’clock this morning- for London and West Coast ports of England, via Panama. KARTIGI REPORTS. —With a cargo of coal from Brisbane, the Union Company’s Kartigi has reported by wireless that she expects to arrive at Wellington at 6 p.m. I tomorrow. TOFU A DUE MONDAY. —The Union Company’s Island passenger steamer ; Tofua is due at Auckland on Monday from Suva and will berth at the Prince’s Wharf to land her passengers, mails and cargo. THE MAUI POMARE. —The Government motor-ship Maui Poraare is due at Lyttelton on Monday from Niue and Apia, with a cargo of fruit. She is due at Wellington on Tuesday, and will leave again on Wednesday for Auckland and Norfolk Island. THE CANADIAN EXPLORER.—According to cable advice the Canadian National steamer Canadian Explorer cleared Quebec last Thursday for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru and Dunedin. She is due at Auckland about October 10. MAHIA CLEARED NEW YORK. —The Shaw, Savill and Albion Line si earner Mahia is reported to have cleared New York last Thursday in continuation of her voyage from Auckland to Boston, Halifax and London. She was dispatched from Auckland, on July 22. ULIMAROA LEAVES SYDNEY.— Cable advice received by the local office of Huddart. Parker, Ltd., states that the intercolonial passenger steamer Ulimaroa left Sydney at noon yesterday for Auckland, where she is due on Tuesday. She will berth at the Queen’s Wharf to land her passengers, mails and cargo. KARAMEA SAILS.— The Shaw, Savill ! and Albion motor-ship Karamea sailed for Wellington and Southern ports this * morning to complete discharging cargo from London, and to load for her homeward voyage. The vessel will return to Auckland to complete loading on October 2. THE CANADIAN HIGHLANDER. —The Canadian National steamer Canadian Highlander is to leave Dunedin for Wellington and Auckland today to complete loading general merchandise for New York, Boston and Montreal. She is due at Wellington on Monday and at Auckland next Thursday morning. SCOTSCRAIG WITH SULPHUR. Arriving in the stream at 7.50 o’clock this morning from Galveston, Texas, with a cargo of sulphur, the E. J. Leslie steamer Scotscraig took up an anchorage till 11.30 a.m., when she came up to Queen’s Wharf. The vessel cleared Galveston on July 15, the Panama Canal on July 24, and made a direct passage to Auckland. She had an exceptionally rough trip, encountering three cyclones, and having to battle against mountainous seas. She was hove to on several occasions, and torrential rain enveloped her. She took 37 days from Balboa to Auckland. A. G. Frankham, Limited, advises that the Scotscraig is to be dispatched on Tuesday for Newcastle, Sydney and Port Kenibla, to complete discharging. Captain L. J. D. WJutelaw commands the Scotscraig. ARLINGTON COURT ARRIVES.— The Court Line steamer Arlington Court arrived at Auckland last evening from Galveston, Texas, and berthed this morning at the Queen’s Wharf to unload 1,200 tons of sulphur under the agency of A. G. Frankham, Ltd. All together the vessel has 6,500 tons for discharge at Auckland, Lyttelton, Port Chalmers, New Plymouth and Wanganui, and this was loaded in 12?» working hours. Galveston was left on July 22 and Panama was cleared on July 30. Generally fair weather was experienced until last Sunday fsvenlng, when she ran into a north-west gale which later chopped round to the south-west. This gale continued until Monday evening, and during it the vessel’s speed was reduced to six knots. A fair amount of water was shipped, but no damage was done to the ship. Captain H. Tullock is in command of the Arlington Court and has the following officers associated with him:—Chief. Mr. W. Kelli; second, Mr. M. Sandburg; third. Mr. G. Jenkins; chief engineer. Mr. C. The Arlington Court is expected to leave Auckland noon on Monday for Lyttelton. PORT OF ONEHUNGA—j ARAPAWA should arrive on Monday from Kaipara. HAUTURU is due from Hokianga at 6 a.m. tomorrow, and is to sail for Raglan, Kawhia and Waikato Heads at 4 o’clock on Monday afternoon. HOKIANGA Is due at Auckland on i Monday to undergo her annual overhaul and survey. KAITOA arrived this morning, and is ; engaged loading for Nelson and Motueka. She is to sail for those ports tonight. XGAPUHI is scheduled to sail for New Plymouth at 3 p.m. on Monday.
