“TOM MOONLIGHT”
The realistic staging of a storm at sea was a notable feature of “Brewster s Millions,” which was brought up to date and revived at the Theatre Royal, Sydney. It is over 20 years since this delightful financial fantasy was first produced in Sydney. Gregham McMahon was the producer for Leon Gordon. A message from Hollywood states that Sir Harry Lauder, who arrived from his tour of Australia and New Zealand, said he had come for his “sixth annual farewell tour of America.” The famous comedian celebrated his fifty-ninth birthday on August 4. He bought drinks for all aboard the vessel.
