CAMBRIDGE WEDDING

PICTURE FROCKS FOR BRIDE AND BRIDESMAIDS OTWAY—HULME St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, Cambridge, was the scene of an interesting wedding on Wednesday, when Miss Gretchen Marguerite Hulme, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Hulme, of Cambridge, was married to Mr. Miles Hastings, Otway, of Te Awamutu, second son of Mr. and Mrs. Loftus Otway, of England, and formerly of Te Aroha district. The bride wore a simple frock of ivory satin, short in the front and long at the back, made with a panel and sash of frilled tulle. An embroidered tulle veil was arranged with orange blossoms over the ears, and she carried a white and gold prayer book. The ceremony was performed by the vicar, the Rev. L. Harvie, and the service was choral, as the bride was a member of the choir for some time. Mr. A. Boyce played the wedding march.

The chief bridesmaid was Miss Jean Hplme, who. wore a pale amber satin bodice and skirt of georgette, very full, and dipping, at the back, with hand-mad© flowers on frilled panels, and a large felt hat to match. Miss Betty Crowtlier, the secpnd bridesmaid, wore dawn pink georgette, the skirt drooping at . the back, and with graduated frills forming the skirt. Mr. and Mrs. Otway will reside in To Awamutu.
