SUCCESSFUL AT HOME An At Home in connection with the Community Sunshine Association wars, given by Airs. Pratt and Mrs. O’Neil at Ait s. Pratt s home in Sharpe Road Epsom, yesterday afternoon. Airs. Pratt received the guests wearing an almond and black luce gown. Airs. O Neil wore rose crepe de chine. The reception rooms were decorated with cyclamen, violets and daffodils. The president, Airs. N. E. Ferner, gave an interesting talk on the work ot the association, stressing the necessity for a good response to the street collection appeal on Friday next. It is hoped to raise Jt: 1,000. items were given during the afternoon by Aliss Bail and Aliss Gardner. Among those present were Airs. AL. A. Aliller, Airs. Nerheny, Airs. Hazard. Airs, E. COMING-OF-AGE PARTY A pleasant evening in honour of the coming-of-age of their daughter Esther was given recently at their residence in Brown's Buy by Air. and Airs. Overington.
