The chief attraction on the programme at the Royal Theatre, Kingsland, this evening will be the silent version of the famous talkie thriller, “The Canary Murder Case.” All the most exciting features of this thrilling murder story hav« been retained in this film. Th« story is one of thf Philo Vance detective stories by S. S. Van Dine, in which a New York chorus girl is murdered, and the detectives have to Florence Vidor decide which of six men incriminated is the guilty one. William Powell, Louise Brooks, James Hall and Charles Lane have important roles. “Honeymoon Hate,” the second feature, stars the beautiful actress Florence Vidor in the role of an American bride at Venice. “Honeymoon Hate” is a delightful comedy-drama.
