MUNICIPAL BAND CONCERT
The loth concert of the present season by the Municipal Band will be given in the Town Hall on Saturday next, September 7. A programme of special request numbers has been selected by a patron who has attended 200 of these concerts. The choice made is an excellent one, and comprises; Grand Overture Solenelle, “1812,” “William Tell” overture, selections from “H.M.S. Pinafore,” and “Les Huguenots,’* the Andante con moto from Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony, and many other fine items. Vocal numbers, both duet and solo, will be given by Miss Molly Atkinson and Mr. Karl Atkinson, with Miss Thelma Gordon at tho piano.
