WAIKATO SUGGESTS CURTAILMENT N.Z. CONFERENCE CRITICISED (From. Our Oven Correspondent) HAMILTON, Today. The Waikato Racing Club at the annual meeting roday recommended the Country Racing Clubs’ Association to consider the question of the curtailment of complimentary tickets at future meetings. “I have lost faith in the administration of the New Zealand Racing Conference and am of opinion that the time is ripe for country racing clubs to make some *'efinite move in the direction of having more control of the conduct of their racing than they have at present,” said Mr. G. W. Vercoe, the president, in commenting on the decision of the conference in awarding the Labour Day date to the Waikato Hunt. Mr. Yercoe added that with this end in view it was his intention to call a meeting of the Auckland Provincial Country Racing Clubs Association to discuss the position.
