SUFFERING EX-SOLDIERS
MORE HELP WANTED l J ress Association WELLINGTON, Friday. Fleas on behalf of returned soldiers who are suffering as the result of war injuries were made by several members in the House today. Mr. D. G. Sullivan (Labour —Avon) urged that the law should be altered to afford a greater degree of generosity to those returned soldiers who were "cracking up” under the strain of civil life. Mr. H. Holland (Reform —Christchurch North) said he would like to state, in view of the references to the plight of returned soldiers, that the Pensions Board and similar institutions had administered the funds as sympathetically as it had been possible.
