ITALIAN TEAM ARRIVES AT CALSHOT PILOTS FULL OF HOPE (Australian and N.Z. Press Associatioyi) (United Service) Reed. 10 a.m. LONDON, Friday. Five pilots, comprising the Italian Schneider Cup team, arrived at Cal shot tonight. Colonel Bernasconi is captain of the team. The Italian pilots are full of hope, but do not know yet what their machines will do. Referring to the doubt about Italy’s competing, Colonel Bernasconi said: “We’ve never withdrawn. It would have been a staggering surprise to learn that we were not competing.’’
