N.Z. INSTITUTE MEETS COMMERCIAL LIBRARIES Press Association WELLINGTON, Today. The New Zealand Institute of Accountants elected the following officers ; President, J. L. Arcus; vice-presi-dent, H. Bicknell; treasurer. Air. Alenzies; secretary, Mr. Morpeth; council, Messrs. Bruce (Auckland), McCuilock (Hawke’s Bay), Menzies (Wellington), Bicknell (Christchurch), and Barr (Dune-din). Support was accorded the proposed establishment of a commercial library in connection with the Wellington City Library, and it was agreed to set aside £IOO as a donation toward any commercial libraries in connection with municipal and other public libraries, the maximum amount to any one library to be £25. The advantage of the expert direction of such libraries to students and others was strongly stressed.
