DAIRY BOARD BENEFITS

CHAIRMAN’S ADDRESS Press Association MASTERTOX, Today. Addressing the annual meeting of the Featherston Co-operative Dairy Company yesterday, at the request of the directors. Mr. W. A. lorns, chairman of the Dairy Board, said the company’s total levy to the board for the past season was £123, while the benefit accruing to the company from reduction of costing was £2,200. Ho said, also, that the whole annual levy to the board was £3,500, while reductions secured for the industry amounted to £450,000. At the conclusion of the meeting a vote of thanks and confidence in Mr. lorns and the board was carried, the mover. Mr. Yule, saying that the board was an immense benefit to the dairy industry.
