FIRE AT TAURANGA
GOOD WORK BY BRIGADE (From Our Oxon Correspondent) TAURANGA, Today. At 4 a.m today fire broke out in a house situated in Kleventh Avenue and the occupants had to make a hurried exit in their night attire. The fire had a firm hold when the brigade arrived. Good work by the brigade resulted in two rooms and the contents being saved. The house is owned by Mr. J. Carter and occupied by Mr. A. Lloyd. The fire is supposed to have originated from an electric-iron.
