BURGLARY AT WAIUKU
THIEVES TAKE PETTY CASH (From Our Own Correspondent) WAIUKU, Today. The premises of Mr. A. Duthie, draper, Waiuku, were broken into some time between closing time on Wednesday evening and yesterday morning. Entry was gained by breaking a window pane and bending iron bars. | Only a little petty cash was taken. | Mr. Duthie visited the premises for i a few minutes at 10 p.m., and it is i thought that he may have frightened the intruders, a suitcase with varii ous clothes was left behind. Several coats and shirts were j strewn about, but it is not certain whether the thieves got away with j any goods, _
