“PEEPING TOMS” CAUGHT
TWO MEN APPEAR IN COURT THREE MONTHS’ HARD LABOUR Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Today. Three months’ hard labour was the sentence imposed on John Taylor MeDougall, alias McDonald, a labourer, aged 35, and John Hamilton, alias Howell, alias Woodcock, a labourer, aged 39, who were charged in the Magistrate’s Court that, on August 29, they were found w-ithout lawful excuse on the enclosed premises of 21 Bealey Avenue. The police stated that accused had alarmed three women by peering through a window at night.
