THREE BEQUESTS

ESTATE OF £II,OOO FOR CHARITY WILL OF LATE MR. J. MOIR Three New Zealand charitable institutions will benefit considerably under the will of the late Mr. James Moir, who died on July 28 while on holiday in Scotland. Mr. Moir, a retired farmer, formerly of Kohuratahi, Taranaki, lived for some time in Auckland. His executor, the District Public Trustee for Auckland, announces that the net value of the estate for probate purposes is approximately £II,OOO. The will provides for certain annuities and, on the death of the annuitant, the estate is to be divided equally among: The Leslie Presbyterian Orphanage of Auckland, which will invest the money and use the income for general maintenance. The Widows’, Orphans’ and Aged Masons’ Fund of the Masonic Lodge of New Zealand. The Parish Council of Insch, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, an income in this case to be used for the training for trades and professions children who have lost either father or mother. In the event of there being no applications under these terms, the money will be used for the support of the parish poor.
