EXTRA LIGHTING REQUIRED
One hundred expert motion picture electricians were required to handle the vast battery of almost 1.000 incandescent and "hard” carbon lights used in filming the lavish theatrical revue sequence of the all-talking picture, "The Dance of Life,” from “Burlesque,” now in production at the Paramount studios in Hollywood. An idea of the size of the set, the interior and stag* 3 of a theatre, can be gained by comparison. The average motion picture set required but ten to twelve electricians.
