SHOP BREAKER SENTENCED

CHIEF JUSTICE’S REMARKS Press Association NEW PLYMOUTH, Today. This morning in the Supreme Court Reginald Eugene Seager, who pleaded guilty to four charges of breaking, entering and theft in business places at Hawera and stealing goods and money worth £2O, was sentenced to two years on each charge, the sentences to be concurrent. The Chief Justice, the Hon. M. Myers, said such cases were rife not only in this district, but all over the country. The courts must do their best to put them down.
