EPIDEMICS IN JAPAN
SLEEPING SICKNESS AND CHOLERA AUTHORITIES PERTURBED
(Australian and N.Z. Press Association) Reed. 10.10 a.m. TOKYO, Tuesday. Sleeping sickness is rampant in Western Japan and many deaths are reported daily. Outbreaks of cholera at Osaka are perturbing the authorities, who are carrying out stringent precautionary measures in regard to shipping.
