CHRISTCHURCH CARRIER SUES MR. ARCHER RESULT OF COLLISION Press AssociatiO)i CHRISTCHURCH, Tuesday. The Mayor of Christchurch, the Rev. John Kendrick Archer, was sued in the Magistrate’s Court today for £6 10s for damages caused in a motor collision. The plaintiff, Frederick John Reynolds, carrier, alleged that the Mayor’s motor-car struck his motor-van at a street intersection, causing damage which cost £G 10s to repair. He also alleged that the collision was due to the Mayor’s negligence. The magistrate gave judgment for the amount claimed, with costs.
