FERTILISER PRICES INCREASE
EFFECT OF PRIMAGE DUTY (From Our Own Correspondent) HAMILTON, Today. The effect of the additional 1 per cent, primage duty on the prices of fertilisers is noted by the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Co., Ltd., which circulates advices from Challenge Phosphates, Ltd., that sulphate of ammonia now arriving is 2s 3d a ton dearer, and ammoniated superphosphate ninepence a ton dearer.
