PRESBYTERIANS WORSHIPPED HERE 75 YEARS AGO.—Mr. Baird’s store on the banks of the Tamaki River, where the first Presbyterian service, in the Papatoetoe and Otahuhu districts, was held by the Rev. John Macky in August, 1854. St. John’s, the present church at Papatoetoe, has just celebrated this 75th anniversary.
