BUS DRIVER INJURED

STRUCK BY MOTOR-CAR HURLED SEVERAL FEET As the result of being knocked down by a motor-car in Great South Road, near Green Park Road, at about 10.30 yesterday morning, Mr. Hugh Glover, aged 29, married, received serious internal injuries. Mr. Glover, who was driving a bus in Great South Road, noticed another car, owned by the same firm, approaching from the opposite direction. Both vehicles stopped near Green Park Road and Mr. Glover crossed the road and spoke to the other driver. When returning to his own bus he was struck by a motor-car driven by Mr. William W. McCardle, and hurled several feet into the air, falling heavily on to the concrete. The injured man, who lives at 39 Prospect Terrace, Dominion Road, was conveyed to the Auckland Hospital. His condition is reported to be satisfactory this morning.
