FOOTBALLERS INJURED

Several players were injured in football matches on Saturday. Don Morris suffered concussion of the brain while playing in the New Fly-mouth-Auckland Grammar match at Eden Park A Grammar School player, P. Shirley, also suffered concussion. Mr. McPherson, of Point Chevalier, had an artery in his right leg severed while playing at Carlaw Park. The three injured players were removed to the Auckland Hospital and discharged after treatment.
