“MICROSCOPIC MARVELS”

SUNDAY ENTERTAINMENT "Marvels Under the Microscope’ formed the subject of an interesting address by Mr. G. A. Ilawson before a big audience in the Majestic Theatre last evening. The lecture was under the auspices of the New Zealand Association for the Advancement of Rationalism. The many strange object of unusual beauty revealed by the microscope were illustrated by lantern slides. The speaker’s descriptions of the minute land and marine creatures exhibited were followed with intense interest. A travelogue, “Riviera ftevels,” and a thrilling picture, "Lost in the Arctic,” were also shown. The entertainment was enhanced by orchestral ; selections.
