In the annals of New Zealand industries there is probably nothing to equal the sensational rise to popular favour of eet-Bix.” Two and a-half years ago “WeetBix” was simply not made or heard of in New Zealand; today over one million packets are sold each year. There is. of course, only one explanation for such a phenomenal success— V.'eet-Bix’ supplied what the public needed and supplied it in the right ‘ Weet-Bix” Biscuits are composed of nothing but the finest possible ingredients, scientifically prepared and packed. As a matter of fact, the chief ingredient is whole wheat—and that ih*. best possible to buy. The wheat is graded, only the largest grains used, and these scoured aI1 jt is interesting to note that the “Weet-Bix” factory, as becomes a patriotic concern, uses New Zealand wheat exclusively. Also all the various operations are conducted on machinery which was designed and constructed in Sydney. The men employed in the factory have all been through a preparatory scientific training for their work. Not the least significant fact in the present demand for “Weet-Bix” is that the factory is going 24 hours a day to supply the market. Also, the branch factory in Christchurch is going 24 hours a day.
