MATAMATA WEDDING
BRIDE IN PARIS FROCK BECK—WRIGHT Florence, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. S. Wright, Taihou. was a winsome bride as she entered All Saints’ Church on the arm of her father on the occasion of her marriage to Air. J. A. h • Beck, eldest son of M.r. and Airs. J. F. Beck. Okauia. The Rev. C. AV. Turner conducted the ceremony. Air. I*. Ingham presided at the organ, and Messrs. J. and R. Beck, brothers of the groom, were best man and groomsman respectively. The bride was attractively attired in a Paris frock of ivory spun crepe de chine and silver insertion. The embroidered veil was becomingly arranged with a pearl cabochou. and her bouquet consisted of azaleas. hyacinths. cyclamen, and maidenhair. Aiisses Irene and Loris Wright, sisters of the bride, were the attendants. The former’s dress was a blush pink crepe de chine, and her tulle headdress was garlanded with primrose and silver flowers. Aliss* Loris wore a frock of delphinium blue crepe de chine and blue tulle with pink ilowers over her hair. Their bouquets were composed of narcissi and maidenhair. After the ceremony Air. and Airs. 11. S. W.right entertained about 70 guests at their residence, “Burulea,” Tgihou. Air. Wright expressed himself as especially pleased to welcome old Canterbury and Taranaki friends at his daughter’s wedding. The bride travelled in an ensemble suit of royal blue repp and soft grey fabric, combined, and a hat of bangkok straw and felt, in colours to match the costume.
