METAL AS A SIRE

HF J• MOLLOY, of Runciman, has L * secured the pacer Metal and will place the services of the handsome horse at the disposal of breeders this season. Metal is well bred, being by Don Pronto from Amie Bells, and possesses all the qualities that go toward a successful sire. The Australian-bred horse has previously done stud duty at Ngaruawahia, and his earlier products are spoken of most favourably by good judges. Given the opportunity of mating with well-bred mares, Metal should produce offspring that will prove their worth later on at. the racing business.
