RIALTO AND REGENT, EPSOM

“TAKE ME HOME” Stage life provides tin- background of “Take Me Home,” the romantic comedy now at the Rialto and Regent, Epsom, Theatres. In this production the vivacious Bebe Daniels has a role of a type she has not previously j essayed—that of a chorus girl in a New York show. Site appears as Peggv Lane, who befriends David North, a. country boy who is stage-struck and comes to the cits' to become a juggler. Peggy lives with Alice Moore. the sweetheart of the stage manager of the show, and the latter gives David a small part in the production. David attracts the attention of the star of the show, and this arouses Peggy’s envy. A series of laughable complications fol - low* and the principals are involved in a number of escapades before a satisfactory conclusion is reached. “The Canary Murder Case,” the second attraction, is the silent version of the famous talkie thriller, based on one of S. S. Van Dine's Philo Vance stories. William Powell, Charles Lane and Louise Brooks have leading roles.
