AFTER THE CLASSICS
\ CERTAIN stable at Te Aw a - mutu shelters a couple of three-year-olds who may develop into classic winners this season. They are Supremacy and Motere, in the capable hands of W. Stone! Supremacy is to be reserved for the Great Northern Guineas, in which he will be bumping’ U p against a solid customer in Pink Coat. Motere is expected to play a conspicuous part in the Avondale Guineas, run four weeks from tomorrow. and the big suburban course should suit him well. In the meantime, Motere is to have his initial race at three years in tomorrow’s Sylvia Park Handicap. and if he has prentensions to classic form He should be able to take a prominent part in this event.
