It is learned that direct word from London indicates that Mr. MacDonald is arriving at Washington in the first week in October. He is expected to remain about a fortnight, and reception plans are being made, but it has not been determined whether he will be the guest of President Hoover or the British Ambassador, Sir Esme Howard.
