SOCIAL WELFARE LEAGUE
FORMATION AT HAMILTON MISSIONER TO BE APPOINTED (From Our Own Correspondent-J HAMILTON. Today. A largely attended' public meeting was held last evening, and it was decided to form the Waikato Social Welfare League. It was agreed to appoint a social worker and court missioner at a salary of £3OO a year, with free house. Applications are to be called for the position and a Government subsidy is expected. A representative committee was formed.
