REMAND FOR FURTHER CHARGES Pleading guilty on a charge of obtaining a hat and overcoat valued at £5 from a city mercer by means of a valueless cheque for £l4 17s 6d, Stanley Lewis, alias Frederick James Thompson, a canvasser, aged 18, was remanded at the Police Court this morning for a week.
