A TIGHT MARK
AS an expression of dissati*faction with the handicapping of Torpedo Kuon in the mile race at the Auckland Trotting Club's benefit meeting, owner Parkes yesterday withdrew the ex-Australian pacer from that event. Torpedo Huon has a mile and a half record of 3.24 and a two-mile one of 4.27 4-5, but as he is now assessed in the latter distance at 4.30, the ban - dicapper is keeping a decidedly tight rein on him in placing Torpedo Huon on 2.12 for a mile.
